NRS International’s #LoveCoats project makes headlines on World Refugee Day
To mark World Refugee Day on 20 June, NRS International officially announced the launch of their #LoveCoats project with award-winning designer at London College of Fashion, UAL, Professor Helen Storey, to empower the TIGER Girls of Za’atari refugee camp in Jordan through fashion and design.
The UAE media extensively covered our initiative, on radio, in print and online. We also trended on social media, prompting much interest and discussions with influencers from the fashion industry and humanitarian sector. We also earned wider coverage across the Middle East. To date, we have been featured in six dailies (in Dubai, Pan Arab, Lebanon and Algeria), one radio broadcast across the emirates, and multiple online articles.
