NRS Relief supplies tarpaulins to Emirates Red Crescent for Rohingya refugees
From factory to field, we care.
Last month, we supplied plastic tarpaulins to our UAE-based client, Emirates Red Crescent (ERC) as part of its response to the unprecedented refugee crisis in Myanmar. ERC is is a volunteer humanitarian organization that supports official authorities in times of peace and war.
ERC is the affiliate of the International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies.
Highly recommended for family shelter protection, the tarpaulins served to provide adequate roof cover for the thousands of Rohingya refugees who are living in tents in Bangladesh camps. These plastic sheetings are fire retardant (optional), waterproof, rotproof and UV-stabilised, which are specifically designed for long outdoor use in all climates.
