Tarpaulins, water containers airlifted to Bangladesh to serve Rohingyas in need
NRS Relief recently airlifted large quantities of Woven Flexible Tarpaulins and 10L Aquatainer jerry cans on behalf of a worldwide humanitarian organization responding to the ongoing Rohingya refugee crisis.
The emergency relief goods were dispatched from our warehouse at H. Sheikh Noor-ud-Din & Sons in Lahore, Pakistan, then transported by air charter to Dhaka Airport, Bangladesh, to serve the Rohingya beneficiaries in need.
In just the past three months, almost 600,000 Rohingyas have poured into Bangladesh, a mass movement dubbed by the UN Refugee Agency as the ‘fastest-growing refugee emergency in the world.’
Our tarpaulins, which have already touched down on the Bangladesh camps, are designed for long outdoor use in all climates and are highly recommended for family shelter protection. Our 10L collapsible jerry cans provide clean drinking water storage in emergency situations where collecting water is one of the first priorities for refugees.
We continue to work 24/7 with all our responding customers, so that aid agencies and local authorities get the required supplies of emergency response materials as quickly as possible.
